Long exposure of cars driving past historic Wrigley Field and its large sign proclaiming the Chicago Cubs as World Series winners. After 108 years of futility, the Chicago Cubs have finally won it in 2016. Down 3 games to 1, the Cubs came back against the Cleveland Indians to win 8 to 7 in extra innings. Wrigley Field dates to 1914 with the first Cubs game there being played in 1916 and the stadium entrance sign dates to 1934.

As a photographer, it is my belief that the two essential elements in a photograph are vision and light. Vision pushes the photographer out at different seasons, times and conditions to capture what he wants to convey and light is the primary tool in fulfilling that vision. My main passions in photography are in capturing country landscapes and small towns. As an avid student of history, I also enjoy finding out about the history of the region I am exploring.
