About Tom Hedderich
Following graduation with a B.A. in fine art from Montclair State University in New Jersey, Tom worked for 30 years as a graphic artist designing display advertising, all the while keeping very busy sketching and painting thousands of people, pet and home portraits, caricatures and free-lance illustrations. Moreover, he was commissioned to illustrate two children’s books by their author. Tom’s watercolors have appeared in a number of books and periodicals, most notably Splash 16, Splash 19 & Splash 20 (Splash 17, Runner-up) from the highly popular “Splash” watercolor series, and also Watercolor Artist & Artist’s Magazine.
