Most of the water within Acadia National Park is drinking water for the local residents and visitors. Therefore most signage indicates "no swimming," "no canoeing," and even "no wading." As such, I carefully walked along the shoreline, attempting to not even dip my toes in the water. While creeping along the shoreline ever so carefully, I stumbled upon this scene on the beach.
